I have put myself in charge of tide tables, the consulting of, and found the beach at Glen Wyllin! It was beautiful, but there was a howling wind from the southwest, and the low February sun was having a hard job rising over the sandy cliffs.
We were warned by a fellow dog walker the wind was blowing lots of of sand just around the little headland. We decided against walking that far. On our return, we reached a wonderful section in the sunshine, and out of the wind. It was significantly warmer.
We will be returning to this beach, but later in the year, on a sunny, non-windy day.
