A friend is having problems with sore muscles and joints due to arthritis. My joints love to be swathed in wool, but my friend's skin is very unhappy with wool. However, she loves purple. Some of the leftover yarn from the Doctor Who scarf will be magically transformed into purple wrist warmers for her.
