Whilst stocktaking the knitting patterns at work, I came across a lovely hat. Rather than buy a pattern, I decided to make my own version. The elongated stitches are made by doing a double yarn over, and then dropping the yarn overs.
I was rather please with myself, and wanted to check how closely I had managed to get to the original. Humph! The original is a simple garter stitch and stocking stitch hat, with the 'elongated stitches' being embroidered on afterwards!
