My laptop died. It was case of terminal drowning in fruit tea. Ava knocked over a teapot, and the tea landed on the computer. We were out at the time, and did not notice for several hours.
I now have a new laptop, but it is stuck in Micro$oft S mode. This means only Micro$ft products can be installed. There is supposed to be a simple solution, click on the M$ Store, and switch out of S mode, but it's not working! I can not stay trapped in M$ Land. There are some nice places to visit, like Word and Excel, but there are horrors like Bing and Edge.
Levels of frustration are running high. There is a danger of a flying laptop.
