Breakfast: Bacon and cabbage (recipe below)
Lunch: Veggie soup and leftover risotto
Dinner: Cumin chicken with veggies
Day 5
Breakfast: Scrambled eggs cooked with spinach, and served with bacon
Lunch: Chicken Cesar Salad
Dinner: Chicken stir fry
Bacon and Cabbage
Ingredients
olive oil
100g bacon lardons
1 onion, sliced
1 clove of garlic, diced
1/2 cabbage, finely shredded
Method
Heat the oil in a large pan and cook the bacon lardons and onions for 3 to 4 minutes over a medium heat until they are golden brown. Add the crushed garlic and cook for 1 more minute, stirring constantly. Add the cabbage. turn the heat right down, and cover. Leave until the cabbage has been heated through.

The Beloved was saying he has found it very easy to stick to the diet, and how simple it is when all your food is simply placed in front of you. I'm glad it has been easy for him. It's taken quite a bit of work on my part to achieve this. The smile on his face as he had to tighten his belt was very rewarding.
