From Dress to Skirt

When shopping Marks and Spencers, I became very fond of this dress. The skirt would be big enough, but there was most definitely not enough fabric in the top half of the dress. I took my three weeks to decide I liked the skirt enough that it made sense to buy the dress, and convert it into a dress. It felt wrong to buy a new piece of clothing and immediately cut it up.

However, that's what I did, and I'm very glad. It was simply a case of detaching the skirt and top, and creating a channel to make a drawstring waist band. The halter cord was repurposed into the drawstring.

This skirt has a huge amount of whish!
