I'm rather delighted. I'm 2 stones lighter than I was at the start of August.
I was chatting to a lady at quilting on Tuesday, and she was asking the secret. "No simple white carbs (potatoes, white rice, bread, sugar, etc), No processed foods, and keep 'fat meals' and 'carb meals' separate (they provoke different insulin responses)." I explained. She looked aghast and asked "What do you eat?!" "Breakfast was bacon, bratwurst, and tomatoes, followed by strawberries and yogurt. Lunch was Chicken Caesar salad, and dinner was brown rice risotto with spinach, sun dried tomatoes and mushrooms. As you can see, I've really been depriving myself."
The look on her face was priceless. "Oh, I'd love a diet like that."
