Glorious Red Acer

This morning whilst walking with Ava, I spotted a fantastically beautiful red Acer. The rain was falling in many, many soft, but persistent droplets. Despite the damp, I had to stop to take in the beauty of the tree.

The result was a wet dog, a happy heart, and curls revived by the misting of rain.

Beautiful Blue

What a stunning sky!  Sadly, it isn't like that now, but it was fantastic while it lasted.

Red Berries

It is really rather enjoyable taking a short walk, with the intent purpose of finding someone beautiful to photograph.

Wee Wet Flower

I love the rain on this single Camellia bloom. There were loads on the bush, but this one seemed perfect.

Some of the flowers have started falling, and below this bloom there's a little pool of pink 'confetti'. It's all rather beautiful.

May the Gorse be with You

A wee drive around the Manx countryside showed lots and lots of gorse,  Against the dull grey skies, and dark green-brown thorny stems, shone these little explosions of colour, bright sunshine yellows.

Sadly, my photographic skills do not show the gorse to its best advantage.
